My Verse

First off, thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you have enjoyed learning about what I do. I am a multidisciplinary designer currently traveling and building my craft. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I transferred to this institute from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, while also studying Graphic Design.

I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend two very different design schools. While in Philadelphia, I was trained under a strong sense of traditional design techniques, which I have been able to implement into my training at SCAD. Transferring to this institute was important to me because it allowed me to explore my curiosity and focus in interactive and experience design. Many projects I’ve worked on start with a foundation of establishing aspects of print design and developing the concept, which I greatly learned in Philadelphia. For the duration of my attendance at SCAD, I have worked on projects with Snap-on Tools, Hewlett-Packard, and fulfilled an internship with Apple, and currently am working at frog.

As a designer, I always intend on pushing the experience as far as necessary. My focus in interactive design has allowed me to take projects from concept and print design execution into a digital and production realm. I feel this has allowed me to create extremely sustainable executions and experiences for users.

For a while, I wasn't sure what I wanted to evoke with design. What I wanted to create and realistically, pivot the world with design. I eventually realized how impactful emotion has been to me. Emotion is an experience in itself. Finding emotion offers memorable moments, and this... This is what I wanted to create. I believe that form follows emotion, because humans create the emotion. Then there has to be externalization of form to create. This is what I want to chase.

I also really enjoy working on mechanical projects, experimenting with projectors, programming digital interfaces, traveling & photographing and exploring abandoned hospitals. So let's go on an adventure!
